Amazingly, I still have not been to the Ferme de la Ruchotte, which is the sort of place that you need to go to with a convivial group who want to eat large slabs of meat and who are in tune with le patron as well - he seems to have offended some of my friends, but others adore the place.

Not mentioned in the original post, but among my favourites locally, are Chez Guy in Gevrey Chambertin, Bissoh (Japanese) in Beaune and of course Ma Cuisine.</description>
