Agreed Jasper, and it would be particularly sad if Beaujolais were hoping to be propped up by sliding under the wing of those most generic, least terroir specific, regional appellations.  

Quality wine brings &#039;identity&#039;, but the current focus seems only on (generic) supermarket shelf-space. You can either have identity or best price per litre - one can&#039;t be taken away, as for the other, there are alway challengers...</description>
